College Awards & Recognition

The college was established in June 1961 and granted temporary affiliation by Marathwada University, Aurangabad. On 24th April 1978 the college received permanent affiliation. From the academic year 1995–96, with the establishment of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded, the college has been affiliated to this university.

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accredited the college with 'B++' in the 1st cycle (82.50%), re-accredited with CGPA of 3.14 at A Grade (2nd cycle), and further re-accredited with CGPA of 3.40 at A+ Grade in the 3rd cycle.

The DES and DSCL management has a vision to develop the college comprehensively — ensuring learning resources, infrastructure, technology, faculty, and academic programmes all achieve the highest standards. The college's performance is reflected through the awards and recognitions received for various academic and social aspects.

SRTMUN Affiliation
With the establishment of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded, the college re-affiliated to the newly formed university.
